The KidZone Ministry Teams welcome you and your family to Swift Creek Community Church. We have two great team Leaders: Renee Disher, the Preschool Ministry Team Leader (birth through age 5) and Lisa-Marie Beckwith, Elementary Team Leader (K-5). I believe God has some great plans for our ministry and the community. I am humbled and honored to be a part of what He is doing. Your children are important to us!

We know that as a parent you need to be sure that your children are in a SAFE learning environment. And we also know that your children are looking for a FUN place to learn! We’ve invested a lot to make sure that both of these goals are reached. The Children’s Ministry is a place of wonder and discovery as children learn Biblical truths. Our goal is to make this the best hour of your child’s week by learning of God’s love and His promises.

When your child arrives at our church, they will be greeted by one of our Children’s Ministry volunteers. These leaders have completed an extensive orientation and training program, have been carefully screened, and are committed to the safety of your child.   As a security precaution, parents are given a numbered wooden chip when you sign your child in at the table. A child will not be released until this wooden chip is presented again by the parent. If at any point there is an emergency with your child, the number on the chip and department (Nursery, Preschool, or Children’s Ministry) will flash on the projection screen in church so you can be notified to return to the Children’s area.

Each sub-section of the KidZone ministry will include group time, free play, Bible story time, project time, snack, and music time. The older the child, the more structured each of these activities will be.

Can you imagine a church experience where you don’t have to drag your children out of bed to get them to go? Swift Creek Community Church could be that place! Don’t just take our word for it though – here are some comments from some of our children who currently attend:

 “Rocking music!”

“That was fun!”

See what I made!”

“Let me tell you what I did today!”

“I don’t want to go home yet”

“Can we come back next week?

We can’t wait to meet your children this weekend!
